Homecoming 2014

The Office of Alumni Relations is excited to merge the 7th annual Jason Elswick 5K with Homecoming 2014. Competitors come out for more than the exercise and fellowship. They are supporting a scholarship to keep the memory alive of a local student who lost his life in a car accident. The scholarship helps students who desire to become educators fulfill their dreams. Price will increase after early registration ends on September 1, 2014. No refunds. Participants in this event will gather at the Dome on Saturday, September 27 at 7:30 AM.

The planned giving seminar is offered to those alumni and friends with a desire to learn more about stewardship, estate planning, and tax information. The seminar will also include a presentation on Bluefield College’s Heritage Society, the club for those who have included BC in their estate plan. This event will take place on Friday, September 26 at 3:00 PM in the Science Center.

The Golden Graduates Society is a society of individuals who have been alumni 50 years or more. All Society members are invited to attend, but the dinner is open to all alumni. The Society will welcome the Class of 1964 this year, along with members of any class before who have yet to receive their medallions. Church attire is suggested. This event will take place on Friday, September 26 at 5:00 PM in Shott Hall.

Join us as we auction trips, art, tickets to sporting events, and many other items to raise funds for the BC Fund for Scholarships.
